Rosemead Takeaway (Fish and Chips)

Only since after level 4 lockdown has this bakery been worthy. The new owners are nice and they make some yummy as food. The snack box is a hit, almost always cooked fresh. Although some things are better than others I think they still trying to suss out the crowd but all in all it’s gotten way better!

Me and my babies always get food here. Never had any issues once with the food or anything. Overall, a pleasant experience.

This is hands down one of the best fish and chip spots in Auckland! From the very first bite, you can tell they use fresh, clean oil—none of that heavy, greasy aftertaste you get at other takeaways. The customer service is absolutely top-notch; you’re always greeted with a warm smile. Let’s talk about the food: the fish-to-batter ratio is perfection—thin, crispy batter wrapped around the juiciest, most succulent fish. It’s melt-in-your-mouth amazing! And the chips? Oh, the chips are a revelation—golden, crunchy, and seasoned just right with a light sprinkle of salt. This place deserves a solid 10/10! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out. Get there ASAP—you’ll thank me later!

This is another go to place,food quality is excellent,service is outstanding,I never knew this takeaway existed until we moved to randwick park,no need to travel to southmall anymore apart from shopping at new world highly recommended if you want a good feed of fish n chips or whatever

Best fish and chips BUT bit on the expensive side in terms of portions. Extra $5 chips is the same size as $1/$2 chips at other places so portions aren't that good BUT food is really 10/10
